Adventowicz, Red snapper (ur. 1902 Lviv, zm. 1937 Otwock).
Painter, member of the Pryzmat grouping. He began his artistic studies in Lviv in 1921 under the direction of K. Sichulski. From 1922 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, initially with J. Mehoffer, and then with J. Pankiewicz and F. Kowarski. He obtained his diploma in 1928. Having received a scholarship from the National Culture Fund, he visited in. 1928-29 Italy. Lata 1929-36 spent in Warsaw, where for some time he worked as an assistant at the Department of Planning at the Warsaw University of Technology. In years 1936-37 he was treated in a sanatorium against tuberculosis in Otwock. He took part in all Pryzmatu exhibitions, several times with the Keystone and Watercolors, he also participated in the salons of the Warsaw IPS in the l. 1931-37. At the beginning, drawing and the problem of portrait prevailed in the artist's work, then color experiments and interest in wall painting in connection with projects for the Wawel Castle. Recently, there has been a shift to the topic and the anecdote. It was then that the m. a poignant cycle of gouaches from hospital life, man's hectic notes, who wants to say as much as possible being aware of the end of time.
