Brzozowski, Felix (ur. 1836 Warsaw, zm. 1892 Warsaw).
Feliks Brzozowski – popular painter-landscape painter – in years 1852 – 1859 he was educated at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw under the supervision of Christian Bresleuer. After graduation, he traveled to the Alps and the Crimea, but he mainly painted landscapes of Poland from Mazovia, Lesser Poland and the Tatra Mountains. For a year 1865 he published numerous illustrations in Warsaw magazines – “Tygodnik Ilustrowany”, “Literary Feast” i w “Kłosach”. He made a dozen or so supraport with landscape motifs for the palace of K.. Przezdziecki in Warsaw. He exhibited mainly at the Krywult Salon and at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw, a year 1874 also at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Krakow. His paintings, painted based on studies from nature, They are distinguished by a harmonious range of colors, skilfully laid out accents of light, clean drawing and meticulous, careful finish. The larger collection of the artist's works is in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw.
