Władysław Jarocki (ur. 1879 Pidhaits (Lesser Poland), zm. 1965 Cracow).
He studied in Krakow at the Academy of Fine Arts with J.. Mehoffera i u L. Wyczółkowski and then at the Julian Academy in Paris (1906-07). From 1909 he was a member of the Society “Piece”, Viennese “Secession” (from 1910), National Society of Fine Arts (from 1921). From 1921 he was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, w 1924-34 editor-in-chief of the magazine “Fine arts”. He was mainly concerned with folk themes, especially Hutsul and Podhale folklore. He made satirical drawings.
