Jędrzejewski Aleksander (ur. 1903 Zhytomyr, zm. 1974 Wrocław).
Painter, scenographer, pedagogue, member of the Society of St.. Luke. He studied art at the SSP in Warsaw under the supervision of T.. Pruszkowski in the years 1923-29. He traveled a lot, he met France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, North Africa. After some time he moved to Kuck, where he also developed his activities in the field of scenography. He took part in exhibitions of the Brotherhood of St.. Luke in Poland and abroad (m.i. at the Biennale in Venice and in Pittsburgh). He belonged to a faction of the Brotherhood, which leaned towards the color concept of painting. Vigorously and passionately, he transposed his impressions and feelings into an omnipotent color, organizing the composition and mood of the paintings. He painted landscapes full of sunshine, street scenes, motion studies. He created with temperament and cheerful humor, without losing your fantasy and joy of life until the end of your days. After the war, he settled in Wrocław, devoting himself mainly to stage design, he collaborated with the Polish Theater in Wrocław and many stages in the country, m.i. The Grand Theater in Łódź. He was the laureate of many serious awards. He was also involved in pedagogical work, he was a professor at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
