Kanelba Rajmund (ur. 1897 Warsaw, zm. 1960 London).
Painter. He studied art in Warsaw, Vienna and Paris. Ecole de Paris had the strongest influence on the shaping of his artistic individuality, the features of which he, however, took on a moderately realistic and anti-impressionist degree. From 1926 he exhibited at the Independent and Autumn Salon (Independents Lounge, Autumn Fair) and in the Parisian galleries of i. u Bernheima w 1928. W 1952 there was a large exhibition of his work at the Hammer Gallery in New York. Images of women, flowers, interiors, Kanelba paints lightly street views, with a certain nonchalance, uses a lively and nervous texture. The compositions are dominated by soft arcs and gentle contours, and the color is usually played in a narrow color scale of blue and greenish tones, punctuated by small accents of darker spots.
