Pieńkowski. In years 1925 i 1927-31 he was in Paris, where in 1931 had his first individual exhibition at the Zborowski Gallery. He also traveled to the Netherlands and Belgium. From 1922 he exhibited a lot in Lviv, Krakow and Warsaw. He was the organizer of the Drawing Holiday Center at the Krzemieniec Secondary School. W 1943 left Krzemieniec and settled in Krakow. He was a co-organizer of WSSP in Wrocław and its professor in 1945-50. He continued his teaching work in Krakow. He painted landscapes, genre scenes, still lifes. There is often a heightened perspective in his works, np. a top view of the seaport or a table with a composition of a still life. Krcha's paintings have a varied texture, They are characterized by warm tones with muted, harmonized brown-reddish-green tones with sometimes more vivid accents, especially deep red. The seemingly real world in his compositions is indeed “deliberate”, presented in simplified and synthetic forms, sometimes primitized, coinciding with flecks of color.
