Głowacki, Jan Nepomucen (ur. 1802 Cracow, zm. 1847 Cracow).
Initially, he studied drawing with A.. Gazinski, then he studied at the SSP with J.. Brodowski and J. Peshki. He continued his studies at Prague and the Vienna Academy (1825-28). After returning to Krakow, he taught painting and drawing at the St.. Anny. Later he became a professor at the SSP. He liked to paint landscapes, especially mountain, less often compositions and portraits (also thumbnails).
